Blackfriars has been WA’s stand out sire for the last decade. With his recent passing the remaining stock are bound to be popular. The standout features of his progeny for mine are their ability to sprint well fresh then stretch out to a middle distance with the same turn of foot later in the prep. They are also a durable tough breed. They seem to thrive in WA conditions and are obviously Westpeed Platinum eligible.
The Dam Great Glory is by Denman who himself is by Lohnro. Both renowned for producing stock that can win from 1000m to 2400m. What a perfect cross with Blackfriars!! Closely related to horses such as Refulgent ($650k wins from 1300-2000m) and Excited Angel (721k 1100m - 2000m) validate my point and there are many more examples in the bloodlines below.
