Mad Roughie Ascot r4 Capal Gasta ; This is purely a case of I tipped it as a mad roughie last start so I’m going to go again in case it finds the front with the Blinkers going on . This is such a week race for 125k I’m willing to lose a couple of bucks rather than miss out on a Christmas miracle.
Best Each Way Ascot r9 In Good Order : In the only race on the program with decent form to work with , I have settled with In Good Order at the odds on an each way basis. Finished alongside Admiration Express in the Northerly and won this race last year . . Apulia and Diamond Scene were going great before the Northerly , both were disappointing there but can bounce back . Sentimental Hero was enormous in the Railway , terrible in the Northerly. These are the main 4 chances so hopefully we can make a decent profit at $2.70 top 3.
