Best Bet Randwick r4 Falerina; Looks the likely leader and is very speedy. With the fav to carry 62kgs will take some catching.

Belmont r5 Arcadia Prince; Went down as a long odds on fav when resuming but just run out of ground. Hopefully settles just behind them from barrier 1 and arrives in time.

Belmont Quaddie (r5-8); 3, 1 5 6 8 11, 1 2 6 8 12 $25 for 100%

Sandown r9 Fifty Stars; Plenty are taking him on this time but I envision they will take a sit and he can be even more impressive despite the weight swing against.

Best Bet Pinjarra r5 Enchanted Dream; Is 3/3 at this track and seems to be finally getting back to it's best form which is good enough here.

Pinjarra r7 Sariska; Never easy winning coming from maiden grade but has a boom on him and didn't dissapoint at $1.50 in maiden victory.

Ballarat r8 Captain Harry; Progressing quickly this campaign and last start was on a bog which will be similar to today once the last comes round.

Weekend Winners

Best Bet Doomben r9 Anatola; Not very brave at $2 but is flying and in a different class to it's rivals.

Flemington r2 Grey Shadow; Getting better with every run and Weir is unstoppable at moment.

Flemington r9 Iconoclasm; Another Weir runner that just keeps raising the bar

* at time of writing it was very hard to get an accurate track rating for Flemington as it's very wet in Melbourne but the track dries remarkably fast. Both tips don't have any wet form so a soft 5 is as wet as I would play.

Morphetville r5 Lite'n in my Veins; Hasn't this horse appreciated the move to SA! Track and distance stats combined with compressed weights make it the one to beat.

Ascot r2 Come Play With Me; Dominant win 3rd up after 2nd up was in WA Derby so should have more upside.

Ascot r4 New Age; Hate the barrier 2nd up but it's first up win with the hand brake on carrying 60kg indicates she has come back a serious racehorse.

Ascot r5 Missile Launch ; Very Awkward barrier but if can get across has far more upside than the rest of them.

Ascot Early Quaddie (r1-4) 1, 3 8, 1 2 3 4 5 7 9 10, 8. $16 for 100%

Wednesday Winners

Best Bet Sandown r8 Heavenly Thought; By now we will already have an idea on  how the Weir/Warnambool form is holding up. However 2nd to Lucky For All has already been well and truly franked. Lucky would be dripping in red here.

Sandown r4 Creedence; Performed satisfactory over 2800m in much tougher. Obviously 2400m no problem.

Sandown r7 Goethe; Anyone who followed last start has to back up. With no room to go up the straight it was in front and full of running 50m past the post. It wasn't missed however $18 - $5 already. $5 is a massive overreaction , really should get close to $10 late.

Ascot r1 Lipstick Flickers; Saw the trial first hand as it was against our very own ATOMIZE. Fastest of the 2yo's by some margin and straight in the black book. Barrier  is awful and will be going small just in case it's extra special.

Weekend Winners

Best Bet Scone r1 Mazaz; 2nd to boom horse Roman Son last start and is always in the finish at this distance range.

Ascot r4 Middle Earth; Has a finishing burst the others can't match so if he can produce it at the end of 2100m first time he will have them covered.

Doomben r9 Higher Ground; Sydney form always stands up at this carnival and this one has it in spades.

Morphetville r7 Tangled; Brings A Grade Sydney staying form so if it has anything left will be right in the finish. Have to back trainer that it does and your getting each way insurance.

Best Bet Warwick Farm r2 Galina; Only has to match last start effort when nosed out by stablemate to win here.

Sandown r8 Goethe; Only beaten by huge weight last start. Is flying for new stable and is a great each way price in an open race.

Weekend Winners

Best Bet Flemington r9 Iconoclasm; Weir runner at the top of his game and is adaptable to any conditions.

Rosehill r4 She Knows; Backing up from soft kill last week and to mine is a better horse than the fav.

Rosehill r6 Nettoyer; Concede she will get a long way back and prefers a wet track but she is racing too well against some horses that look past their prime.

Ascot r4 Rose's Shadow; Likes the track and distance and Pike rides from good gate.

Ascot r5 Finally French; Should be unbeaten but got way too far back last start before thundering home. Should settle closer from the good draw.

Ascot Quaddie (r5-8); 5, 6, 8 ,  1 2 4 5 7 11 $6 for 100%

Gold Coast r8 Comin Through; Not usually one of mine but beaten two lengths in a Doncaster and 5th behind Winx stands out like a beacon!!!

Best Bet Wagga r7 Ashlor; 5 from 7 at distance and beaten half a length behind Rich Charm last start!

Wagga r2 Laughing or Crying; Ran on hard in harder race last start.

Wagga r5 Bennelong Dancer ; 4th in the country championship final looks fantastic form for this.

Warrnambool r4 Hang Man; It was only a maiden field it demolished last start but it was also only start 3.

Pinjarra r6 Touched; Race wasn't run to suit last start. Pike goes on and you can find Friar Fox form last prep.

Wednesday Winners

Best Bet Ascot r2 She's a Galah; Ran a very encouraging 2nd outside the leader on a Saturday first up. Pike sticks and drawn for easier run.

Warrnambool r4 Bold Bandit; One start over the jumps was 2nd over 4800m in Ireland. Won on Australian debut on the flat and no doubt will be strong at the end.

Warrnambool r9 Lucky For All; Great win first up against the pattern of the day. Looks destined for better.

Canterbury r3 Oria; Looks a Saturday horse in the making and was very strong through the line when winning with authority first up.

Canterbury r7 Molten; Looks likely leader and hardest to beat in current form.

Sunday Prayers

Best Bet Sha Tin r8 Ping Hai Star; Only missed top 2 once in career, going for 5 in a row after dominant win in Derby, Moreira on.

Sha Tin r7 Ivictory; It's not often you see a track record broken with the jockey looking over his shoulder looking for the opposition and handbrake still on. Big jump in class and Moreira jumps ship but loses nothing with booking of Purton.

Geraldton r3 Flirtacious; Bolted in this track/class/distance then ran 2nd up in class.

Geelong r8 Souffrant; Forget last start when everything was against in much tougher company. big drop in class and Lane goes on.

Weekend Winners

Best Bet Caulfield r5 William Thomas; Massive drifter in the market at lastest where pulled it's head off outside the leader and still only grabbed late by rival who had gun run. If the gear changes and jockey change work it should be winning.

Ascot r3 Arctic Stream; Was very brave off a significant setback latest. Fitter and looks smart.

Ascot r6 Bam's on Fire; Has a nasty habit of getting too far back but then absolutely steams home at the end. Would prefer a more accomplished jockey but it's hard to sack your daughter! Small win and heavy place looks a good bet.

Hawkesbury r6 White Moss; Very brave behind a hot form race in Quilista and good 2nd up stats see it right in the mix.

Hawkesbury r7 Ecuador; Been kept fresh since brave 2nd and races best that way. Always hard to get past.

Weekend Winners

Best Bet Morphetville r7 Inspirante; Has had SA oaks written all over it when smashing inferior fields in country Victoria.

Morphetville r6 Viddora; Has been competitive with best sprinters in the land and flies fresh. Can't afford to give Snitty Kitty too much head start but will be storming home. Obvious Quinella.

Morphetville Quaddie (r5-8) 2 3, 7 8, 9, field $56 for 100 %

Randwick r3 Dothraki; Always seems to find a way to get beat but maps perfectly and is weighted to win against these.

Randwick r7 Trapeze Artist; The concern is his consistency  but when he is switched on he is one of the best horses in Australia as last start proved. This is easier so has to go close.

Randwick r9 Osborne Bulls; Just keeps winning and should do so again. There are concerns about a possible on speed rail bias which doesn't suit so being the last, plenty of time to moniter before diving in.

Randwick Quaddie; fld, 10, 1 2 5 6 7 9 10 11 14 15 16, 7 $143 for 100%

Best Bet Ascot r6 Iz That Right; Has shown promise all career and finally broke through when absolutely smashed in the ring last start. Banking it being one of those horses that now goes on with it. Also maps to get a sweet run.

Ascot r9 Distant Trilogy; One last chance for this frustrating horse. Maps much better today and won't get an easier race to return to the winners circle.

Ascot Quaddie (r6-9) 6, fld, 1 2 9, 1 $36 for 100%

Sandown r6 Platinum Angel; Tricky gate but has them covered on ability.

Randwick r6 Hiyaam; Ran them into the ground in the traditional lead up, gets chance from inside to repeat against a lot of swoopers.

Randwick r8 Almandin; Looks very well weighted for a Melbourne Cup winner coming off a WFA victory.

Randwick Quaddie (r7-10) 9, 1, fld, 3 4 5 10 11 $85 for 100%

Caulfield r7 William Thomas; Was very impressed with it's first up victory and suspect it's extra smart.

Morphetville r3 Music Bay; Won on debut then trialled like a coming winner last week.

Morphetville r7 Leicester; Very progressive type on a Derby path.

Sunshine Coast r4 Trois Choix; Has the best form here

Sunshine Coast r9 Guard of Honour; On his day he is very smart and if he runs up to last start he smashes them.

Sandown r7 Esperance; Gate 1 /1000m may not be  ideal first up but if it pans out ok it has too much ability for these.

Oakbank r6 Antipas; Has slowly improved in SA to a level that should be too good here.

Best Bet Caulfield r6 Top of the Range; Won here over 1600m then was very unlucky at Flemington. Steps up to 1800m and as long as there is no leader/rail bias I'm very confident.

Rosehill r1 Spin; The slipper lead up form has provided plenty of 2yo winners lately and Spin looks to have the strongest of this lot.

Rosehill r5 Mongolian Marshal; Anything from this yard crossing the Tasman has to be respected and this fellow has a real nice turn of foot.
