Best Bet Ascot r1 Prized Nemesis; Has been close up in stronger maidens than this. Drawn to get every possible chance for top jockey.

Randwick r4 Ahmed; Has won 3/5 in it’s first prep, last 3 in a row and still has plenty of upside. Unbeaten on soft and although this is a fair jump in class they are not the most trustworthy lot.

Randwick Quaddie (r4-7); 2 6 9, 6, 2 3 4 6 8 , 4 6 8 10. $60 for 100%

Sandown r5 Sunrise Dancer; Two starts ago ran 2nd to Age of Chivalry who ran 2nd in a feature race last Saturday. Won maiden impressively since. Only question is jump up to 1400m. Trainer is flying since switching states.

Best Bet Sha Tin r9 Dark Dream; Ex Aussie horse that was one of our best young stayers before going to Hong Kong and has taken that form with him. Dynamic win two back before endured horror run from bad barrier but still powered home late latest. Drawn to settle much closer and Purton goes on.

Narrogin r1 Laylo; Taking the punt that the increase in distance will be enough to turn this horses form around in the weakest of maidens. The $1.50 fav has burnt punters before and is jumping from 1200m to 1700m.

Narrogin r8 Brother’s Keeper ; Freshened after great run in the Perth Cup where it did plenty of work and gought it out well at 100-1. This is obviously a massive drop in class and trialled well in preperation.

Narrogin r9 Al Di La; Brings superior form and should be winning.

Best Bet Randwick r2 Nothin Like Harry; 2nd to Lamborghini in a Flemington BM78 looks outstanding form for a moderate highway race.

Randwick r8 I’m Excited ; Was flying last spring in Melbourne and in a competitive race I expect her to be flying home over the top late first up. Each Way.

Randwick Quaddie (r6-9); 5, 1 2 6 7 8 9 10, 1 2 3 7 9 10, 4 8 11. $126 for 100%

Flemington r5 Fundamentalist; Has finished very close up behind genuine group 1 mares consistently and has a slight race fitness edge and weight advantage on one of them here to get the job done today.

Flemington r9 Widgee Turf; Opening price of $9 was never going to last (I’m already on) but will be storming home late and $7 each way is still a great bet. Best horse in this.

Ascot r4 First Emong Equals; Has competed well with the best sprinters in Australia, was beaten by a bob of the head last start and looks to get every chance here. Can’t believe Celebrity Dream is odds on coming back 600m in this field.

Doomben r4 Takings; Going for five straight and leads for fun witch is a huge advantage at Doomben.

Doomben r9 Spurcraft; Has speed to burn and although there is others with similar tactics if it finds front will take a stack of catching.

Thursday Tips

Best Bet Bunbury r4 Fred Dag; Drops a long way in class from setting the speed at listed level and fighting on well. Form last prep was promising and good enough to beat these.

Bunbury r5 Stormy Ruler; Running good races against harder opposition so gets it’s chance.

Bunbury Early Quaddie (r1-4) ; 1 2 4 5 6 7 9 10 11, field, 4. $135 for 100%

Bunbury Main Quaddie (r4-7); 4, 6 , field, 2 3 4 5 6 7. $54 for 100%

Pakenham r3 Our Toninicconi; Hasn’t lived up to expectations but was a good run first up and can win this.

Pakenham r7 Burgonet; Last run rated through the roof. Might not be the best horse in this but has fitness edge over better credentialed rivals.

Best Bet Sandown r5 Jungle Fish; Started prohibitive odds first up and lived up to them bolting in. She belongs in better grade than this.

Sandown r8 Villa Sarchi; Track and distance specialist in good form.

Sandown Quaddie (r5-8); 11, 1 2 3 4 6 7 9 10 11 12 13 , field , 6 11. $220 for 100%

Warwick Farm r3 Fluidity; Love backing a mare in form and she has demolished her rivals last two. This is harder but should be good speed on for her to power over the top.

Warwick Farm r5 Common Purpose; Best Horse, best Jockey and barrier 1.

Doomben r2 Peppi La Few; Starting to test punters faith, continually running on into the minor placings. Slight increase in distance and barrier one in a very winnable maiden, last chance.

Murray Bridge r4 Exalted Maxine; The mare beat a nice type in quick time first up and I really rate the jockey.

Best Bet Hobart r8 Lamborghini; Gets back and flicks the turbo switch late. Last start Saturday Caulfield winner. First crack at this distance but smothered up and saved for last crack he should be very hard to hold out in the cup.

Hobart Quaddie (r6-9); field, 1 2 3 4 6, 4, 6. $40 for 100%

Colac r7 Tarquin; If he can handle the 60kgs his form is far superior. A win in Saturday grade (52kgs) is too good for these.

Albany r6 Malilangwe; Very similar race to last start where it was heavily backed and got the job done comfortably.

Weekend Winners

Best Bet Doomben r6 Langhro; Brings solid Melbourne form for new stable, races on speed which is a big tick for Doomben and very effective on wet ground.

Doomben r8 Star Reflection; Has the best current form of these, handles both wet and dry and back out to pet distance range.

Doomben Quaddie (r6-9); 10, field, 6, 1 3 6 . $36 for 100%

Caulfield r3 Princess Of Queens; Last three runs over this distance have been very good and has race fitness over key rivals.

Morphetville r2 Blue Hope; Brings two soft wins from Geelong to this while fav coming from a maiden victory.

Warwick Farm r5 Estijaab; Hasn’t started since winning Golden Slipper 11 months ago. Dumped rider at start of only official trial. Slipper winners don’t always go on as 3yo’s however the form from this edition has already been franked. I concede this is a huge risk but simply don’t want to let her go round at around $4 without a little on because if she’s back she will win.

Pinjarra r7 Chix Pix; Concede Samizdat could be anything. One start as a 2yo for brilliant win and easy trial winner in preperation for this $250k Magic Millions 3yo. However Chix Pix has the runs on the board in good company, is unbeaten first up, suited at level weights and most likely gets a decent head start turning for home.

Best Bet Rosehill r9 Paret; The only knock would be 1200m as it’s a little short of his best but has won better races than this and first up was a big tick behind a smart sprinter.

Morphetville r6 Lynch Mob; Strike rate not great but around the mark in similar grade in Melbourne as well as a last start midweek win is good enough for this.

Morphetville Quaddie (r5-8); field, 5, 1 2 3 4 5 7 8 10, 3. $48 for 100%

Ascot r8 Time To Hunt; Was a very promising 3yo, lost his way and now as a 5yo is shooting for 4 straight. The 3 wins have been emphatic and although this is tougher it maps to get every chance.

Canterbury r3 Judge Judi; Trainer and jockey both in fine form and although up in grade maps to get a nice run up on speed.

Monday Money Makers

Best Bet Sandown r2 Victory Kingdom; Did things wrong on debut but still ran 2nd to a horse that would start very short here with a big gap to 3rd.

Sandown r7 Peko; Never finished worse than 2nd and maps to get every chance.

Warwick Farm r3 Lady Cuvee; Beat Waller Stablemate on it’s merits first up so can’t work out why same horse is favourite here.

Warwick Farm r6 Etymology; Concede this is much harder than last two wins but the ease of his victories can’t be ignored. Seems as though the penny has dropped and he will be hard to beat in any staying event he contests.

Bunbury r4 New Age; There is two of her but the fresh version is very good and coming off a lovely trial.

Bunbury r6 She’s A Galah; Barrier beat her first up but she made very good ground late. Has performed well in better races and very keen she breaks through here.

Bunbury r7; 2 & 3 Quinella. Can’t split them so looks obvious quinella in a race of few chances.

WEEKEND WINNERS

Best Bet Sunshine Coast r1 Le Juge; Gets back in his races but that should be ok here and looks to have a clear class advantage. Very suprised its not favourite.

Randwick r3 Star Fall; Couldn’t have done anything more this prep and winners continue to come from his form lines. Sylvia’s Mother is a nice horse buts odds on with his presence astounds me.

Morphetville r1 Wasabi Bob; The main danger meets him worst off at the weights so really should be winning.

Ascot r6 Beat The Devil; Keeps raising the bar and although up in grade again, simply gets too good a run on pace to tip against.

Caulfield r8 Silentz; This horse is really in the zone and although it’s short in the market, having tipped it last start we have to stick fat and collect again.

Caulfield Quaddie (r6-9); 1 , 1 2 3 4 5 6 8, 5, field. $77 for 100%

Friday Fire Up

Best Bet Narrogin r8 Bergio; Always about the place and this race is easiest it has contested for a while.

Narrogin r6 Famous Romance; Record doesn’t inspire much confidence but i just have a gut feeling the 1190m might suit based on hard finishing third over 1000m 2 starts ago. $18 each way in such a weak race looks ok.

Moonee Valley r3 Columbus Circle; Put them away quickly on debut when the gap arrived. Looks a very promising type.

Moonee Valley r8 Greyworm; Has been supported at all 3 starts winning two of them. Already into odds on so must be going well for first up assignment.

Wednesday Winners

Best Bet Canterbury r4 You Make Me Smile; Led all the way and was untroubled here last start. Drawn the rail and very hard to run down again.

Doomben r7 Sienna Rose; Gets back and finishes like a bullet just like last win at this track and distance in a stronger field. Barrier 1 could be tricky but small field helps.

Sandown r4 Hang Man; Brilliant last to first winner first up from spell and won 2nd up last prep. Nice horse going places.

Sandown r7 Mystyko; 2nd to Star Fall up in grade before thrashing rivals in this grade latest.

Sandown r8 Good Idea; Promising well bred stayer that is ready for tougher assignment after bolting in lesser class last two. This stable very good at crossing the border with the right horse in the right race.

Sandown Quaddie (r5-8); fld, fld, 3, 10 $143 for 100%

Wednesday Winners

Best Bet Bunbury r6 Stairwaytothemoon; Been waiting for the blinkers to go on and her 2nd attempt at a trip looks the perfect scenario. Short enough with the Pike/Durrant factor but any price a winner!

Bunbury r5 Media Baron; Confident it’s the best horse in the race. Does it have the sprint in it’s legs to win over 1200m first up? Won a trial over 950m in good time so going to trust it’s class. 30% win 70% place is the safe option but I like going small wins only in that situation.

Bunbury Quaddie (r5-8); 2 4 7, 5, 3 6 8, 1 2 3 6 7 9 11 $63 for 100%

Warwick Farm r4 Prophet’s Thumb; Wins don’t come much softer than it’s first up win over 1000m from the back. 1200m looks ideal and most likely wins better races soon.

Warwick Farm r5 Royal Witness; Like the map (leads in all her races) and jockey (Rachel King) more than the horse but will be hard to run down over 1000m.

Sandown r3 More Sundays; Has a boom on him that is yet to be proven but bred to be group 1 class and have a feeling was a bit rushed last campaign into the big league. Market says he wins, suggest waiting for mounting yard mail/betting moves.

Sandown r4 Jenkins; Looks set for a good 3yo campaign based on it’s win first up. Better suited to 1600m and maps to get every chance close to the speed.

Multi * I Suggest top tote plus or Top fluc if available as think they might get out a little.

Use Stairwaytothemoon & Prophet’s Thumb as the bankers, add other legs for value at your peril !!

Sunday Prayers

Best Bet Bunbury r5 Time To Hunt; Always shown promise but rarely got it done. This prep it has put two wins together and although getting up in the weights, thrashed a similar field last time. Stable is on fire.

Sale r7 Cape Richards; Very competitive race with chances galore but this fellow is in my black book after missing start and making great ground first up. Won first 2 starts including this track and distance 2nd up last time in.
