Best Bet Ascot r5 Mr Kunafa; Should get the perfect run on the rail from barrier 1, peel at the top of the straight and be in the finish . Suggesting about 40/60 each way split of your stake to make a profit off the place.

Ascot r9 Tuscan Queen ; Peters/Pike combo have owned 3yo staying features since I can remember. Impossible to see how any filly can turn the Natasha Stakes result around here and then she should continue on to dominate the Derby if racing gets that far.

Best Bet Albany r6 Trade Storm; Dominant track and distance win followed by a close 2nd in an Ascot c1 behind a promising horse. Not unusual to see Trade Fair progeny improve with age and as a lightly raced 6yo has obviously taken time to get right. I am always wary of horses carrying over 60kgs but carried 59kgs at Ascot in harder race. $5.50 each way looks very reasonable.

Best Bet Ascot r1 Queen Brown ; Well related filly who ran a cracker on debut , just failing to catch a talented type. Jockey is in red hot form .
Ascot r8 Confluence; His eastern state’s form is good enough to thrash these. The only negative I can see is his absolute best might be on soft tracks. Fascinated to see the market moves. So far it has shortened from $5 to $3.50 back out to $4.
Multi/Betfair ;
Ascot r4 Son Of A God; Things went horribly wrong last start but the combination of talent and Pike still got him home. This race is no harder , $1.65 for a horse that does a lot wrong is the gamble.

Best Bet Pinjarra r8 Winnie’s Wine ; One of those run on types that always catches the eye. Had to go to Albany to breakthrough narrowly. Next start she nearly ran down Baby Blues who was a $1.50 fav on the day and far better credentialed than today’s rivals. She is bound to be in the finish and $5.50 each way looks a great price.

Ascot r5 Son Of A God; Has always looked talented but very green at the trials. Smashed them first up despite drifting in betting. The form out of the maiden has since failed and there is heaps of speed in this so although clearly the one to beat , odds on is too short.
Ascot r6 Time to Sizzle; Well named as it knows one way , bounce and run . Back to 1000m huge tick and if it finds the front they will have their work cut out catching her. However their is lots of speed in this and odds on is too short as if she cops pressure there are lots of each way chances to pounce late.

Best Bet Bunbury r1 Jakestar; Yet to run a bad race and was given a lovely quiet trial behind our girl Angelique’s Fame . The favourite Native Chimes obviously hardest to beat but has had a few chances and is mixing it’s distances.
Bunbury r3 Not My Fight; Raced competitively in decent 2yo races then wasn’t disgraced first up in a harder race. Fav Giant Leap is ridiculously short like most Pike/Peters horses are ,big watch on first upper Mr Delegator from red hot Tiarnna Robertson stable.

Best Bet Ascot r8 Naughty By Nature; Concede she had a great run in transit last time but she was the only one who offered any sort of challenge to highly regarded Superstorm. Showed a blistering turn of foot to put the race to bed quickly first up. Tricky draw in a big field this time but if CJP can have her close enough with cover on the corner she will be very hard to hold out.

Best Bet Bunbury r2 Petite Le Femme; Beat our girl Angelique’s Fame at the trials by 6 lengths , (granted we were ridden cold , not fit) .Then debuted at Narrogin over 930m where she ran on well into 2nd behind the favourite who had too much speed . Angelique’s Fame then bolted in over the 930m in good time first up. This is a wide open race and the market seems to have missed her at $15. No good thing but worth an each way ticket at those prices.
