After a horror week of tips we head to our home track , with our own runners , on a big day for LUCKY DUCKS & THELANETRAIN , determined to turn it around.
Bunbury r1 Magnasonic ; We are very excited to unveil this 3yo at his home track . First trial was very impressive , 2nd one was used as a track gallop to keep him fresh enough for today. Not really a betting proposition today as there is a $1.50 favourite and we’re one of 3 others in the field of 8 given a chance so only $1.30 the place. Lets just sit back and cheer him on!
Bunbury r5 Galilea ; Ran a massive race at 100s , then repeated it , again from a long way back. This field is as weak as it gets for Bunbury. Can she jump cleaner and hold a position closer from the good gate? Extremely hard to beat but her racing pattern makes it hard to have too much on.
Bunbury r7 Frantic War ; We have been trying to get him to his home track all prep . Unfortunately he has come up with a bad gate but he drops back to a c1 . If he can cross without burning too much fuel then I’m sure he will run his usual honest each way race at odds. Oregan Hiker looks the best value punting wise , Snippy Witch hardest to best , Uncle Gerard next best. I’m going to box 1 2 3 5 6 in the trifecta and hope the equal fav Dreamers Never Die misses out. Bit risky with Pike on but you only live once!
Best Bet Bunbury r8 Valley of Queens ; Track & Distance specialist like most of #LANETRAIN horses are . Hopefully brings the house down when she thunders down the straight to cap a huge day for the stable.
