Race Analysis : No luck at the barrier draw once again, drawn 7/8 and we have just left jockey BG with a blank cheque, see how she jumps and take it from there. First up with the ear muffs she switched off too much early , 2nd up with a different set she was too keen early. It’s been a headache to say the least however her beaten margins in stronger races still say she can be competitive today. Royal Guardian has run back to back 2nds and has been hammered into odds on in early betting . Mad Spitfire has run 3rd in the same races . Lanta was good first up despite being very wayward , failed 2nd up .From barrier 1 I’m speculating Lanta will try and lead , Royal Guardian should settle closer and Quiet Goddess and Mad Spitfire have decisions to make from the outside.
Betting Strategy ; Now she is out to $7.50 / $2 a place , while she maps awkwardly I do think she should be going close to placing and in a field of 8 , $2 is a bet. Royal Guardian deserves favouritism but not odds on . Top 2 in a SRM with Quiet Goddess Top 3.
